Ward Damon Welcomes Mahra Sarofsky, Carl Williams As Partners, Dane Leitner Named Chair Of Litigation Practice Group

Ward Damon, a multi-disciplined law firm headquartered in West Palm Beach, continues its growth in 2022 with the addition of attorneys Mahra Sarofsky and Carl Williams as partners. Additionally, Dane Leitner, firm partner, has been named Chair of Ward Damon’s Litigation Practice Group.

Sarofsky is an experienced litigation and transaction attorney in the areas of business and commercial law, complex commercial litigation, creditor’s rights/bankruptcy, commercial real estate and business formation, sales and dissolution.
Sarofsky has worked for both medium and large firms in Broward, Palm Beach and Miami-Dade counties and has served as in-house counsel to a private equity company in Boca Raton. Raised and educated on Long Island in New York, Sarofsky relocated to Florida shortly after completing her studies at Hofstra University School of Law where she was the recipient of the Eugene M. Wypyski Scholarship and served as a Research Editor for the Hofstra Labor and Employment Law Journal. She is a member of the Florida Bar.
Williams comes to Ward Damon with more than 20 years of litigation experience in the areas of business and corporate law, construction and construction defect litigation, labor and employment law, and probate litigation. He has represented both plaintiffs and defendants in a broad range of corporate and business disputes, including litigation involving claims of breach of contract, fraud, breach of fiduciary duty, business torts and deceptive trade practice claims and more.
A fourth-generation Floridian and Palm Beach County native, Williams is licensed to practice in Florida, New York and Minnesota. Williams is also an honorably discharged veteran having served four tours of duty in the Persian Gulf. He earned his J.D. from Florida Coastal School of Law, and his B.S.B.A from University of Florida Warrington School of Business.
Leitner, who has been with Ward Damon since 2012 and has a growing practice in the areas of business litigation, real estate and family law, has been named Chair of the firm’s Litigation Practice Group. Leitner’s unique depth of legal experience enables him to manage the broad spectrum of needs for both business owners and entrepreneurs.
