Ward Damon Adds Three Attorneys To Its Legal Team

Ward Damon has announced the addition of three associate attorneys, Michael Billings, Salvatore Polidoro and Phil Werner, to its growing practice. Billings is a litigator who concentrates his practice on business, commercial, real estate and construction matters; Solidoro concentrates his practice in complex tax and estate planning matters; and Werner concentrates his practice in business and commercial litigation.
Michael Billings is an associate at the firm and a seasoned attorney who has litigated numerous seven-to-eight figure damages lawsuits, including taking several cases to trial. He also has experience representing high-profile clients and industry leaders. Prior to joining Ward Damon, Billings worked for a few boutique law firms in Palm Beach County, as well as a family law firm in Denver, Colorado, where he began his career in private practice. Upon graduating law school, he clerked for The Honorable Judge William W. Hood III, who is now a Colorado Supreme Court Justice. Billings earned his Juris Doctor from University of Denver, Sturm College of Law, and bachelor’s degree from Colgate University. Learn more about Billings here.
Phil Werner is an associate at Ward Damon who concentrates his legal practice in the areas of business and commercial litigation. Previously, Werner defended national corporations in litigation matters arising out of automobile negligence, breach of contract, negligent entrustment, premises liability, and subrogation. Originally from South Carolina, Phil graduated with distinction from the University of South Carolina and then attended Wake Forest University School of Law. Salvatore Polidoro is an associate at Ward Damon who represents individuals in a wide variety of complex tax and estate planning matters. He focuses his practice primarily on probate, trust administration and estate planning for individuals and their families, and also counsels individuals on tax controversies such as complex tax litigation and resolution disputes. Prior to joining Ward Damon, Polidoro represented and advised clients in a broad spectrum of tax and estate matters including debt collection with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) and the Florida Department of Revenue (FDOR). He earned his Juris Doctor and Masters of Laws in Taxation degrees from the University of Miami School of Law with a concentration in International Taxation. Learn more about Polidoro here.
