Sasha A. Klein

Profile

Sasha is a Partner and Chair of the firm’s Estate and Tax Planning group.

"Helping protect your legacy." With a passion for helping individuals and families solve their most sensitive issues, Sasha counsels affluent individuals and families in estates and trusts; estate, gift and generation skipping transfer taxes; and fiduciary and individual income taxation. She guides clients on structuring wealth to achieve their goals, including protecting against risk and minimizing transfer taxes at each generation. She also has extensive experience in advising on trustee and family governance structures to preserve business enterprises and manage sensitive family dynamics. Sasha oversees these structures throughout the estate and trust administration process. She also advises the Firm's fiduciary litigators on tax, trust and estate matters. Sasha holds both a post doctorate degree in tax law and an Accredited Estate Planner® designation, and was recently awarded “Trust Member of the Year” by the Florida Bankers Association.

Sasha has earned AV® Preeminent™ Peer Review Rating by Martindale-Hubbell, a professional rating indicating the highest ethical standards and professional ability. In addition to practicing trusts and estates, she lecturers nationally and is a frequently published author on a range of estate planning, wealth management and tax law topics. She has been a visiting professor at The University of Florida Levin College of Law on post mortem tax planning and holds numerous leadership roles in professional organizations, including in the trust and estate section of the American Bar Association, Florida Bar Association and Florida Bankers Association. Sasha also volunteers and supports numerous civic and charitable organizations serving the community.
