Profile

Kristin Vara is an associate who concentrates her practice in the areas of commercial and residential real estate law.

Prior to joining the Ward Damon, Kristin served as an Assistant State Attorney for the Fifteenth Judicial Circuit in Palm Beach County, where she handled juvenile, misdemeanor, and felony cases which helped her develop significant trial experience and motion practice.

A native Floridian, Kristin graduated cum laude from the Florida State University before earning her law degree from Nova Southeastern University, Shepard Broad College of Law. While there, Kristin served as a Teaching Assistant for Professor Polli Camille Lamar in Legal Research and Writing, was a Law Clerk at a South Florida Insurance Defense firm, and a Certified Legal Intern at the State Attorney’s Office for the Seventeenth Judicial Circuit in Broward County. She is a published author whose article “Espionage: A Comparative Analysis” was nominated for multiple awards and published in the ILSA Journal of International and Comparative Law.

In her free time, Kristin enjoys spending time with her family and Siberian Husky, Juneau. She also loves traveling, being outdoors, and volunteering with a local Siberian Husky rescue shelter, GTS Husky Rescue.
