I. Jeffrey Pheterson concentrates his practice in the areas of labor and employment law, business and corporate law, complex litigation, governmental representation, and probate litigation. A member of the Florida Bar since 1976, he advises clients on these matters and, when required, practices before federal and state courts throughout Florida.

Mr. Pheterson is active in our community as a Trustee and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Bethesda Memorial Hospital, which operates two hospitals in Palm Beach County, and of Bethesda Health, Inc., its parent healthcare system.
He is an angel investor, a founding member of Palm Beach Angels, Inc. He also is a Founding Member of the Palm Beach Wine Auction Committee which benefits the Education Department of the Raymond F. Kravis Center for the Performing Arts. He is a former Member, Board of Directors, Weiss Treasury Only Money Market Fund, an SEC regulated Mutual Fund affiliated with Weiss Capital Management, Inc. He served as a Hearing Officer and Trial Attorney for the Public Employees Relations Commission of the State of Florida, and a former Chairperson and Member: Executive Council of the Labor and Employment Section of the Florida Bar (1984-1993).
Mr. Pheterson lives in Pine Tree Golf Club in Boynton Beach. He and his wife Melissa are collectors of Haitian art and season ticket holders for decades at the Palm Beach Opera, where he also serves as legal counsel. He is an avid wine collector and member of the Aqua Vita Society. He has two married daughters, one is a teacher of Spanish using the TPRS system (teaching proficiency through reading and storytelling) in Evanston IL and the other is an elevated pastry chef at the Ritz Carleton in Laguna Nigel CA specializing in over the top wedding cakes.
