FIVE WARD DAMON ATTORNEYS NAMED 2013 TOP RATED LAWYERS BY AMERICAN LAWYER AND MARTINDALE-HUBBELL®
WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (October 28, 2013) – Attorneys Philip H. Ward, Conrad Damon, Michael J Posner, I. Jeffrey Pheterson and Rana M. Gorzeck, of the West Palm Beach-based law firm Ward, Damon, Posner, Pheterson and Bleau, have each been named a 2013 “Top Rated Lawyer” by American Lawyer Media and Martindale-Hubbell™.

This rating indicates adherence to professional standards of conduct and ethics, reliability, diligence and other criteria relevant to practicing law. Ward, Damon, Posner and Gorzeck were each recognized for their work in Real Estate Law, while Pheterson was recognized for his work in Labor and Employment Law. Posner was also recognized for his work in Intellectual Property Law.
Philip H. Ward III founded the firm of Ward, Damon, Posner, Pheterson and Bleau in 1987 and serves as managing partner. He concentrates his practice in Business Transactional Law, Strategic Planning/Technology Issues, Banking, Loan Transactions, Commercial and Residential Real Estate and Intellectual Property. Ward serves as Vice Chair of the Board of Commissioners for the Health Care District of Palm Beach County, and is a member and former chairman of both the Board of Directors of the Business Development Board of Palm Beach County and the Internet Coast Tri-County Economic Development Council.
Conrad Damon concentrates his practice in Commercial and Residential Real Estate Law; Business and Corporate Law; Title Services and Claims; Construction Lien Law; Wills, Trusts, Estate Planning; and Probate, and Dispute Resolution. He serves on the Board of Directors for Advocates for the Rights of the Challenged (ARC) and is a former chairman for both the Martin County Local Planning Agency and the Martin County Board of Zoning Adjustment.
Michael J Posner is a board certified real estate attorney who concentrates his practice in Real Estate Law; Homeowners/Condominium Association Representation; Complex Real Estate Litigation; Business and Corporate Law; and Wills, Trusts and Estate Planning. He has completed hundreds of commercial and residential foreclosures for banks, private lenders and associations, including bank work during the first savings and loan crisis in 1991-1992. He also serves as a United States Housing and Urban Development Foreclosure Commissioner.
I. Jeffrey Pheterson serves as co-managing partner of Ward, Damon, Posner, Pheterson and Bleau. For over 35 years, Pheterson has focused his practice on the areas of Labor and Employment Law; Business and Corporate Law; Complex Commercial Litigation; Healthcare Law; Administrative Law; and Probate Litigation. He is a trustee and former chairman of the Board of Trustees of Bethesda Memorial Hospital and a trustee of Bethesda Health, Inc., a former gubernatorial appointee to the Board of Commissioners for the Health Care District of Palm Beach County, and is a founding member of the Palm Beach Wine Auction.
Rana M. Gorzeck concentrates her practice in Business Law; Real Estate and Construction Law; and Corporate Law. She assists owners of businesses throughout Florida with their transactional needs . Her work includes secured lending, commercial real estate and high-end residential real estate, construction, title examination, leasing, contracts, partnership agreements, industrial development bonds, and the acquisition and sale of businesses. Gorzeck also acts as corporate counsel for those businesses who need day to day legal assistance.
